Trying to gain insights. I'm looking for help choosing another anemone for my ocellaris clowns.

Currently have a Condy and BTA in the tank but I was looking at something that the clowns naturally might gravitate to. Ideally I'm looking something fairly manageable size wise. Are any of these slightly better for a smaller tank (Fluval Evo 13.5) ? Also placement (gravitating to the rocks vs sand is pretty important) , I have more space on the rocks than sand. Where does a maxi mini Anemone fall in is that a different variety all together or some sort of miniature carpet anemone?

Magnificent Sea Anemone (Heteractis magnifica)
Giant Carpet Sea Anemone (Stichodactyla gigantea)
Merten's Carpet Sea Anemone (S. mertensii)

I just didn’t want something that would grow like 6 inches or something. Perhaps 4” ok. But I’m definitely getting addicted to them.

The only one that will stay somewhat small is the mini maxi, but it will not host the clowns.

Another option is H. malu. They stay small and host many clowns. They do need a sandbed though, so it sounds like you may need to rearrange some rocks.

Thanks for the suggestions all, btw can anyone tell me if a condy should be near the sandbed? I thought originally I had a seabae so that’s where I placed him.
