Nothing has changed in the tank other than adding some new frags of coral to the sand bed on Saturday.

Every evening when my daytime lights go off, leaving my night lights on for an hour before blackout, I look over at my tank. Looked over today and the whole tank was cloudy. Two of my anemones were spraying out loads of (what looked like) smoke, and are now completely shrivelled up.

First thing you do is Google it....some people are saying its harmless they are just spawning. Others are freaking out saying I need to remove the nems and do a water change.

Is there anything to worry about here? Or am I panicking over nothing?

What kind of anemones in what size tank? In most situations you shouldn't worry at all, but if say you have huge haddonis or gigs in a small tank it might be a concern. Check the water in an hour or so and it should be mostly cleared up by then.

Two RBTAs in a 95G tank.

I'll most definitely be keeping an eye on it. Dont think I'll be able to sleep!

It should be fine, but you can toss in an extra bag of carbon for a day, just in case. Depending on total water volume.

Okay so what that is, Is them spreading gametes into the water hoping to reproduce. Generally anemones do that in stressful situations.. but not always. Now that can crash a tank. But with a 90 gal. And 2 anemones use a micron sock.. or carbon. Or even filter floss

They shrivel a bit when lights go out and it can be expelling of waste.
What is age of tank and what is your light schedule?

Agree also on suggestion for carbon
