Hi Again!

I swear it always something new with my tank lol. My purple tang has a new growing white spot around its mouth which I am suspecting it to be a sting from my BTA but i am not sure. Its swimming just fine & eating its nori strips. I literally went to go make lunch & this appeared

It may have been initiated from sting but appears from blunt object causing injury as you are seeing. Normally recommended is to keep an eye on it to assure fish is healing however this is a wide area in mouth and I would recommend quarantining fish and treat with Seachem Kanaplex or Maracyn 2 with added oxygen via air stone. You can also treat current tank with ruby rally pro which will take a little longer but will protect fish from infection. If it has trouble eating - Offer brine shrimp which is easily palatable for this fish
