Any ideas on how to remove this or just cut the plastic cover? Looks like mouth and foot are still in tact..

yes anemones and power-heads are always a concern. they sell mess covers for the mp60 or mp40 cant tell what you have.
i used to use them but they clog so quick and lowered flow a lot . i find once the anemone is happy they dont move that much

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm on the hunt now for a DYI mesh. Thinking of using gutter guard plastic material and wrap the cover. fingers crossed..
There is factory made foam cover for them and also there are people making 3d printed anemone guards.
Look in the forums menu for them.

Pick up a "nem protect" 3d printed cover.

They don't clog and don't mince nems!

Just be careful about the type of plastic used! PLA plastics have been known to break down into microplastics in saltwater.

For the anemone, let it work its way fee.

Place the nem and plastic grill in a bucket. the nem will separate off it, OR leave powerhead off and nem will depart from it

Mp40 covers work pretty good. My anemone was taking a walk and stopped to take a break on cover. Lol.

Any other pics let's see how bad it is. It may not be as bad as you think

Let it work itself out. Once out, attach some form of nylon screening over the intake or check 3D thread and you might get someone to make you an anemone safe cage
