Hello reefers friends! I'm in the process of starting a anemone tank. My question is can a rainbow and black widows be in the same tank. Thanks in advance.

Mine play nice.

Yes, and hopefully, you will end up with some cool morphed variation at some point. :)
wouldnt the only way for this to happen to be from sexual reproduction therefor a new genotype and new colors?
I dont think you can get a new color morph from an animal cloning itself

Correctamundo :)

EDIT for some who may not know.

Two ways

1. Reproduce asexually. (no morph)
2. Reproduce sexually by broadcast spawning with fertilization taking place. The larvae will broadcast swim around in the plankton until a suitable place is found to settle and metamorphose into a young anemone with possible to probable depending on species.
