Hey yall my anemone went all the way from mid level tank to my wave maker. I realized before it was shredded to pieces and now it’s latched onto the outside of the wave maker. I shut down the wave maker and tried to scrap it off with my hand in a glove or a soft tool but no luck….. for my 40 gallon tank I currently have my seachem HOB filter running. Will this be enough oxygen and flow while I leave the wave maker off to hope the anemone moves!!!

Thoughts?

I would get an anemone guard for your wave maker! That will allow the wave maker to continue to run without the anemone getting shredded!

Yes that should be plenty of oxygen and flow for your tank. Hopefully your nem didn’t get chewed up to much and can make a quick recovery. You have a pic of what it looks like?

This happens very often but once it has you never forget covering the pumps and power heads
Good luck going forward
