Why does my anemone do this. He will be doing amazing, some sometimes randomly he will shrivel up like bubblegum. My Params are 8 ph, 5 nitrate and 0 ammonia and nitrites. Hes back out again and flourishing but it’s weird

my bta will do something similar every so often. Usually it means they are expelling waste from them. Nothing to be worried about if that’s the case.

This is completely normal and doesn't mean there's anything wrong.

However... it sounds like you are new to reefing and have a very new tank; nems usually do best in a more mature setup so do keep an eye on it for actual signs of distress (or, rehome it for now).
