Where do you live? Is it very cold there? Windchill here is like -43 overnight ha ha. Even 2 heat packs and a styrofoam everything will come as popsicles here.

I would not have anything shipped below 30 degree outside temps ideally.

You have several local reef stores there. Keep an eye out and when you see something healthy, pretty and in budget grab it.

Think there are 3 reef stores your way. For sure a ton more within a few hrs and 100s of folks online.

Marsh reef is local houston club. Got listing for 3 rainbow bubble tips for $100. Just have to drive 10 hrs round trip.

See if there’s a local club or even fb group. Many times cheaper and way less stress on animals.

I live in south south texas. So its 46 - 50 degrees here. So i think it will be fine.

Bad news its dropping to possibly 8 degrees here. And i already ordered it and theres a snow storm coming.

Anemones do not like being shipped. I bought a RBTA from AquaSD and when I first looked at him I was very worried. Mouth agape, color didn't look great. After a couple of hours in the tank he was already looking great, mouth closed up, tentacles bubbling up.

So I wouldn't necessarily worry about what the nem looks like right out of the bag.

Edit - Saw your later posts... yeah, hole from the mouth through the foot is not good.

Looks just highly stressed. Don’t use a net when handling. If it’s mouth is gapping open then maybe you have a problem
