Had an interesting afternoon. We were out most of the day yesterday and when getting home i stopped in the check on the fish. DT looked good, but my pico with the mandarin was missing. I looked ariund for a couple seconds before i noticed a tail sticking out of the HOB filter tube…
Thinking the worst, i pulled the power and removed the tube. He kicked, and i was able to blow down the tube to push him out. Immediately thought he was done, zero movement and completely still. After a few minutes and some real slow and big breaths, he was back and after probably 15 minutes of sitting upright and seemed good. He was eating last night and cruising like himself.
No idea how long he had been in there, and im expecting if it was much longer it would be done.
The HOB is a pico and the tube isnt much bigger than a pencil, didn't expect he would fit!
No photos, but ill post updates. Remember kids, cover your (filter) tip.
