Angelfish sex change

Specifically I'm asking about a Bellus Angelfish. If I get a single female how apt is it to change to male? What would trigger this change? Any chance it would stay female? I've had anthias that changed in a matter of days. I've had wrasse that took months. Other wrasse that didn't change at all. Thanks for any help.

I've found Genicanthus angels are reluctant to transition to change to male without another female present.

That's what I wanted to hear. Thanks. This is one of those fish where the female is prettier than the male. To me anyway.

I agree, I think Genicanthus females are much more elegant looking than their male counterparts.

I agree the females are prettier, but I like the male Masked swallowtails. I currently have pair of female Bellus and Masked swallowtails. The one Masked is larger than the rest and it's dominant so hopefully it will be the only one to transition.
