Angels keep disappearing

Yellow Angel was perfectly healthy - lived months - disappeared and haven’t seen it ever again.

Just bought an emperor Angel a week ago, was doing great and suddenly this am the emperor is nowhere to be found.

Any insight?

What other stock do you have? Tank size and age? Best guess with given info would be current inhabitants are killing the newcomers.

If it’s only been a week on the Emp then leave it a bit and wait as these fish as juveniles can go into hiding and not always come out.
