Anybody got any ideas for me?

Here's the deal, I wanted to take my wife out of town for our 10yr anniversary and i could figure out some stuff that way myself as I am a pretty romantic kinda guy... :p but our daughter is having her Christmas play the same night so we have to go do that. Besides the flowers, gifts, and dinner, what is something i could do that she would enjoy?

Thanks. :D

How about a "Rev" coupon book? You can make them up on the computer and print them out.

If she normally does the dishes, one of the coupons can be for a week's worth of dishes done by you. Or for a night out on the town, a massage, taking out the trash, etc. The possibilities are endless. :glasses1:

But honestly, one of the best treats that I have received was when my husband set up a bath for me. He went and bought all the girly bath salts, oils etc. When I walked in the bubble bath was already drawn, candles lit with my favorite glass of wine and a new book by one of my favorite authors within easy reach. Then he left me alone to enjoy it all. Bliss I tell you!!!

A trip to a spa or a manicure/pedicure type pampering might meet her liking. Drop her off earlier in the day before the night out on the town. I got help from the wife:D.

Spa trips (massages) are great!

Though you can never go wrong with jewelry (I asked my lady for you). Nothing get 'em dropping their ******* like something shiny! For the cost of a spa trip you could buy something nice that will last much longer. Sam's has surpisingly nice items at a good price.

I always took roses to her office for her birthdays and anniversaries. She'd get all gushy and seem proud to have a worthless lump like me. I guess that made it a win-win:rolleyes:.

Get her a gift certificate for 5th day. :) j/k I think the spa thing sounds like a good idea or maybe one of those rides downtown with the horse drawn carriage. I ran out of romance a long time ago, my wife is always wanting me to be more romantic. On our anniversary we went to Cracker Barrel, 5th day creations, went with Donny to deliver a tank and then to the movies with Donny. She was just happy to be with me she didn't care what we did.

Talk to the grandparents about watching the daughter after the play. While you make her a special dinner, go with Anomie's idea about the bath, If you have a large tub join her. With children you guys probaly don't get much alone time. Do your own massage therapy. Get some sent lotion or oil. Victoria Secrets have some awesume lotions. I know on Hubby's and my Anv. I prefer the alone time.
