Just saw this at my LFS...labeled as a Long Jaw Wrasse, but most I see online are red. This is s cool baby Blue/green coloring.

That's not a sling jaw, its tail, mouth and eyes are wrong for a slingjaw. Its a snooty wrasse, Cheilinus oxycephalus, they are very color variable, specimen to specimen, and moment to moment.

Agreed. I just got something last night from my LFS giving the same ID.

The color variation absolutely rings true. This was a light blue in the store and now goes between reddish, greenish and brownish. I was hoping it would keep that beautiful blue coloring, but maybe it was a camouflage thing as my LFS has blue-backed aquariums?

Just as a follow up on this Wrasse. I finally got it into my 240g and now it stays mostly green but it’s tail is a cool blue color.
