sad day, but we'll have to see how that plays out... "owning them" and "business as usual" sometimes keep the OPCO's independent of its parent company, lets hope that's the case...

It just goes to show how competitive this business is, even for the big boys. You can only imagine how tough it is for the LFS. Drs F&S tried to cater to the whole pet industry (fish, dogs, cats birds etc.). I can only imagine the dollars they had tied up in inventory. My guess is that in the future, inventory will be much smaller and choices will be a whole lot less. A lot like their stores, a little of this and a little of that. Only time will tell.

I've been looking around website and other places, but haven't found any info on liveaquria.com.... really would like to know if they sold that off as well.
