Sorry for another thread of, "What is this growing in my tank," but at this point I just need to get it taken care of. Is it simple hair algae or something more serious like dinoflagellates? I see the sticky threads about dino, so if someone can confirm that, I'll read through those to battle it.

Ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates are all 0 ppm, but I haven't checked phosphates recently. Salinity, pH, alkalinity, and calcium are all within normal parameters. Currently have some corals and 2 clownfish in the 65 gal tank. They're doing fine so far, but I worry about treatments that would harm them. I have been losing quite a lot of cleaning crew, so I'm leaning towards dino, but need a more experienced eye before taking action.

Hopefully these pictures help. Thanks in advance for any responses!

I would say definitely looks like Dino’s but without a microscope cannot say for sure. Nitrates at 0 does produce bad algae tho I would increase to atleast 5-10ppm

Zero nitrate & zero phosphates are a recipe for disaster in a reef tank.

Check the reef cleaners link for identification and treatment.
