I've been working on trying to get my building blocks up. They have been pretty much undetectable until about a week ago. It's been almost 3 weeks now without a water change. I've never been this long without one so I'm kind of nervous.
Current parameters
8.1 alk hanna checker
440 cal hanna checker
1320 mag salifert
P03 2 red sea pro
P04 .002 hanna ulnar

Should I let it go for now and keep checking parameters? I am seeing positive results so far.

Really depends on what your keeping and how many? Replenishment of elements at some point will be needed. Depending on above, will determine when a water change or dosing will be needed.

It's a mixed reef with about 30 small acros. I have a doser and dose bionic daily to keep alk and cal in line. I was worried about trace elements. The only algae is film that needs to be scraped every other day.

I think it is most likely that a trace element additive won't have an apparent effect in this case, but it is certainly easy enough to dose a commercial mixture and see.

more complex would be to get a detailed chemical analysis of the water and dose what seems to be low (if anything).
