Hey guys! I have what appears to be two different male anthias here. They are fairly large. My friend was told they were a squampini and "green" anthias. The orange one doesnt really look like a squampini male at all and ive never heard of a green anthia. Can yall help me out? Thanks!

Yeah, huchtii. It is a species within the the squammipinnis complex.

The yellow one looks like a Squarespot in transition.

One is a male, the other is a transitional male, it has female coloring, but has developed the dorsal pennant

No, squarespots don't have as lyreate of a tail, or as prominent of a dorsal pennant.

Thanks guys! So they are both huchtii anthias. One male and one transition male. Awesome!
