not sure what’s going on, but my anthias seems to be not eating / slowling down. He’s usually pretty on top of feeding time, but he sortof stays in the rocks and doesn’t really move to quickly anymore.

All other fish/ coral are healthy and happy. Water parameters are fine.

I’ve had him for 6+ months with no problems...food has been consistent pellets and mysis/brine

Yes I’m familiar, I’ve dealt with ich before a few years ago.

I’ll keep an eye out for symptoms... just thought one fish acting funny would be odd

Why question is it possibly for a fish the get sick and die , and not have some big issue where a QT is necessary ??

I feel like anthias need a lot of feeding and if I missed a day or two his could’ve set him off

A healthy fish can go for a week or longer without eating before it becomes an issue. Is the anthias just hiding like that all the time, never coming out of the rockwork??

Could it be possibly he was caught with cyanide?

I had 4 beautiful anthias and same thing. Had them for 6 months, they went insane for food and I fed them 2-3 times everyday. Then all of a sudden one at a time they all stopped eating, started to hide and then died.

Have you seen any fish sparing with it? What other fish are in the tank?

I have some Bartlett’s that routinely lay on the sand. They were QT’d, eat well, and lay on the sand from time to time like a hawkfish perching
