I have 3. 2 females and 1 male. I feed twice a day. One of the feedings consists of pe mysis. It keeps mine nice and fat.

How does everyone acheieve multiple feedings per day? Auto-feeders? If so what kind of food are you putting in there? What times are they set to feed at?

So do they show schooling behavior like chromis do?
Not really. Chromis don't actually school in captivity (at least not for long). You'd need a whole bunch to have schooling behavior.

Manual, for the time being. I've got a peristaltic pump on standby, though.

I have seven in an 80g tank, but some will be separated into another system soon. As long as you can keep up with the bioload and have plenty of rockwork, you can keep quite a few lyretails in a 75g tank.

just from my experience...they are fine and peaceful when small, but as they get larger and a male develops it is just as aggressive as a male Lyretail..also unlike the Lyretail the other females are known to change to male, they have for me, and then the fighting begins until a super male is dominate keeping the others in check with some bickering...but IMO this beautiful fish is worth it...here is a pic of my dominate male
