Anthias Questions

I would like to know if you buy a single male will it keep its coloration or do you need to also keep the male with 1 or more females in order for the male to keep their coloration? Anthias in question are Squareback and the Lyretail.

Also, how big do male Squarebacks get? LA says 4" but BZ says 8". That's a big range!

Pink squares will fade a little, but not bad, without females, squammis usually keep their color.

I have never seen an 8" pink square. The biggest I have ever seen was 6".
