They do talk to you but not as much as Siamese and not as screechy. lol

We've been keeping cats for over 40 years, most of our cats live over 20 years, the current on MAMA is about 23 years old, runt all-black semi feral cat.

Congrats, @Humblefish and @jeffrey750750 ! We have 6 now that are all rescues (plus 3 dogs and obviously fish!)! Our 2 newest are 6 months old now. My hubby was strickly a dog person before he met me and now he loves kitty snuggles almost as much as I do! They all LOVE to watch the fishies and "help" with water changes!

My cat is very loud too. After cat get more comfortable they will meow less. She still meow at me sometimes and looks like want to talk to me.

one of my cat kill some of my fish on the open top tank. It just flip the fish out and hide it in the corner

My cat never cares if my hair looks like Beetlejuice. She never cares if I've worn my PJ's all day when I'm sick. She just wants to snuggle! Pretty good arrangement if you ask me!
