Heck no. We have a fully outdoor cat, who we ONLY own to take care of potential rodents. Cats are evil!

My Siamese Himalayan just passed 20 yrs old.. this is my Bengal.. he’s a dog.. greets everyone at the door, loves kids, and dogs.. he jumped on a table w 15 kids so they all can pet him..
I have another special kitty coming from overseas soon hopefully
