Had a bonded pair of orange storms that has been with me for over 4 years and yesterday the female jumped and died on top of my net cover. The net was made when I had 2 lights and have since added a 3rd so this left about an inch gap in the back where she jumped out. She was a feisty gal that would swim across my 4ft tank to bite my hand which I hated but still bummed to lose her. The male has just been swimming in the back by the overflow since but have noticed this even before when she was still there.

Not sure if he's feeling any sort of grief but moving forward I am thinking of swapping him with another pair I have in a 50g but a little hesitant in not wanting to stress him out too much. He'll be with a juvenile scopa and 2 purple firefish, which honestly I haven't seen come out for several weeks now. I've yet to see the scopas bother the smaller male in this pair. Anyone see any problems with this?
