So LA currently has some in stock and I've been really hooked into them and really tempted to get one for a future 68gal Macro Algae tank since it seems like they do better with rock structures opposed to open sand beds like some other sea moths and walking batfish. So has anyone ever kept one? Or better, had success with one? How easy was it to get them hooked onto prepared foods? Thank you in advance

I have never kept pegasids but (aside from bumping this post up), here's my thinking based off of the sparse information I can find:

Treat them like the best cross of seahorses and dragonets. Pegasids are syngnathids (related to seahorses and dragonets), so I imagine that constant feedings are going to be a must, as are live feedings. I bet they'd really enjoy live worm feedings (think white/grindal worms and blackworms), and copepod supplementation.

You might have better luck with a syngnathid forum or FB group than here.
