is your nba team going to the playoffs? i hope my team doesn't make it so we can get a shot at the nba lottery this year.. if they do make it to the playoffs its most likely a dallas mavs 1st round stomping for us.

Our team was fighting for that same spot. We need to do some major rebuilding... including the trade of KG. I'd like to see him go to a contender while he's still in his prime.

they should've traded him a long time ago and allow the guy to chase a championship instead of letting his talent waste away in minne. i highly doubt anybody w/ the 1st or 2nd pick of this years draft will trade for the big ticket. the chicago bulls might be a good trade partner as they are loaded w/ young talent, NYK's pick.

detroit and miami look like the frontrunners to come out of the eastern conference :) i'm pullin for detroit cuz my man cwebb is on the team

Most people here don't want to see him go, but the ones that are willing to consider it agree that Chicago would be a great fit. The only problem is we want a lot in return, and Deng is a must. I don't see Chicago parting with him any time soon.

I also like the idea of a Kobe/KG duo.

you never trade your stud to the same conference :) i think the bulls would consider parting w/ deng. sometimes you have to cut your losses... imagine if they traded last season and tanked hard this season. they could possibly end up w/ the 1/2 pick, foye, and some young players. thats a pretty good foundation to work with. you gotta give alot of credit to minne's GM. he should have been fired after that fiasco that costed minne 3 draft picks.

Yeah, McFail and the owner are screw-ups. It's funny how the paper always neglects to mention the Joe Smith blunder.
I think Foye has a good future and so does Craig Smith. That guy is just a monster.
This organization has been surrounding Garnett with mediocre players for the past ten years. They need to realize that he isn't the type that going to dominate a game. He can fill the stat sheets every night, but he needs a real scorer to work with.

Sacramento Kings are int he same position.. they have good but not great players that hold big contracts.. bibby.. 13+ mill per yr, brad miller 10+, kenny thomas 7+, artest 7+ and some other guys that eat up the cap. i'm shocked they didn't make a move at the trade deadline to trade for expirings... alot of teams made offers. with all the good but not great players will keep us in the land of mediocrity for a while.

chicago is the perfect situation for garnett... they sorely lack that low post scorer... KG would instantly make them serious contenders.

I've always liked Bibby... remember him in college. Martin is good too. I hope Artest retires(too much baggage, bad image).

There's always next year.
-man I wish I could get paid millions for playin a childs game.

bibby is clutch and martin is a up and comer.. artest.. i don't even want to talk about that headcase. i wish i could get paid to play too.. artest recently said he wanted to retire and give up those millions.

NBA is still around? I thought they folded along time ago.....I used to watch it 12-20 years ago when it was still a team sport.....But all that said I would have to go with the Detroit Badboys....Ooh wait they all retired.

I used to watch it when Jordan played. After he left it wasnt the same for me. Now I am a HUGE college bball lover. IMO way more exciting.

I will watch the NBA finals though. :D

down here in sunny florida i'll be rooting (in almost total futility) for orlando's magic in the first round, after which i'll switch my loyalty to miami's heat, again in almost total futility unless wade's shoulder miraculously heals enough for him to play at which point anything is possible. the likelihood, though, is that wade will not play and miami will be eliminated at which point i take the really easy road of rooting for the pistons. as much as i like 'sheed, rip, billups, and prince, however, and still smile when i think about what they did to the lakers a couple of years ago,i don't think they can take dallas, phoenix, or even houston in the finals. the more immediate issue, however, is the final four this weekend. in spite of the fluidity of my loyalty in regards the pro game, in college hoops i'm always orange and blue. GO GATORS!!!
end of rant
