Weird, what about the circuit board on the furnace itself, what are the labels on the board where the wires go.

There should be a circuit board at the bottom of your furnace where the lines all connect to, usually mounted in by the fan

Your circuit board for the furnace would be most likely be attached to the blower assembly. you would be looking for a circuit board roughly 10" x 12" in most older situations. Look for where the thermostat wire is being fed into the furnace. most likely brown wire sheating for residential applications.

I had an issue like yours on our heat pump with the ecobee. Even though the unit was listed on their website the circuit board that was installed with my unit was not. When the unit would call for heat it would not turn the heat pump on. If i told it to run emergency heat then it would work. I ran it this way for years. Had to have some duct work done last fall and had them change the board while they were here. Works fine now.

That's the fella! You'll see down at the bottom the same color wires that are behind your thermostat are connected to the circuit board, a really good pic of that and we should be able to figure this out for you :)

My furnace was over 40 years before replacing it about 3 weeks ago, so yours should have to troubles once you get the wiring figured out

If you have electric then odds are you have a heat pump cond unit.

Yeah, that's what the thing says, something about heat pump. Only gas thing in the house is the water heater. In the app, there's 2 different settings for the heat pump, O and B. I tried them both and had the same result. Although on B I did get an interesting noise coming from the unit

When you are using a heat pump you are either, depending on the unit, energizing or de-energizing a solenoid. Y1 is cool 1st stage, W1 is heat first stage. All a heat pump does is change the flow of refrigerant, thus the solenoid.

The O/B is for the reversing valve only in Heat pump applications. You are not running a Heat pump. This is a gas furnace with straight AC.

In this pic your have the red wire on R/ aka run, and the black with on C, aka common.

If I was onsite I could probably figure it out in nothing flat, but not being onsite and me personally doing commercial work, I don't run across residential stuff much except for my own units.
