I'm not to worried about it because it doesn't seem to be a threat, just curious about it. It doesn't react to a flashlight but I dont see it during the day

Looks like a glass anemone. Similar to aptasia but less invasive and pest like. I had one come on live rock and never multiplied or stung anything.

Could be, but the base looks a little strange to me for an anemone. I'll look around to see if I can find any pictures of something similar.

The closest I've found so far is Caryophyllia inornata but it was one picture that looked simalar out of hundreds of completely different pictures for the species.
