I have a 40 gallon breeder tank, so far it has two very small clowns in it, A tiger watchman goby, two zoa's, a mushroom and a hammer. I was thinking on adding a dwarf fuzzy lionfish, but I've heard negative things. I'm now leaning to a margaritata pufferfish or a valentini pufferfish. But I've also heard they may not be reef safe and poke at a coco worm, which I do have. Another issue is I also wanted to eventually keep a clam, but I'm willing to not get one

Dont add any fish

Royal Gramma
Fire Fish
Yellow tail Damsel
Cardinals
Hawk Fish

The fish you listed are not great choices for a reef tank of that size.
