hay all I'm new to the salt life and looking for a local friends to reef it's all trial I understand but why make a mistake win not needed and also I have a strong tank for a newbie I have pods like crazy I have to take snails to my local fish store because they bread like crazy well thanks

Yeah I agree there is a group for the tampa area that seems to be pretty active on here. I am new to the forums but have been in the hobby for a few years.

Tampa has some great stores locally I have been to several. Some are a hit or miss but really work with you.

The star fish thing well there is like 3/4 of them I do have a starfish but there is these lil white ones ?

First looks like a ball anemone and the second is an asterina starfish

They seem to be hit or miss. Some have no problem while others see them eat Zoas. I have always gotten rid of them if I see them.

Also some of my rocks got a dark orange almost red color is that normal ?

Welcome to R2R, I'm from Lakeland myself. I need to head over to the Tampa area more often. I've gone to a couple stores off of Hillsborough Ave, that were pretty decent.

I honestly don't know of any local clubs or how they advertise. I've been in lakeland for over 20 years.
