Just wondering, by how much does euro-bracing increase the strength of a glass tank?
I had a shallow tank built some months ago (60" x 30" w x 18"h) with 10mm side panels and a 12mm bottom panel. I wanted all 12mm, but there was a mix up. So I euro-braced the bottom with 12mm, the top with 12mm and installed a 10" wide center brace with 12mm. Honestly , I braced the s**t out of this tank. It held fine for 24hrs, I emptied it, because this project is on pause until this summer. Nevertheless, I cannot find info on how bracing increases tank strength.
