Anybody have experience dosing Interceptor for red bugs with clams in the tank?

I might have a red bug infection and I'm thinking about dosing interceptor. I have 4 crocea in the tank. Do I need to remove them? Thanks

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
