anybody use roe

im interested in getting some roe for my lps corals and i was wondering if anyone else has used this before and what were the results? i have acans and soon zoas and palys. thanks again:sure:

I do some salt water fishing in the summer and i have used weekfish roe and flounder roe with my clams, mussels and oysters . I have good results with my mix, but I only have a live sand bed and skimmer and have to watch my nitrates. All fresh mix of seafoods are excellent.

I have fed my LPS Salmon roe that I collect during Salmon fishing season here in the PNW. They gobble it up. However it makes your skimmer go nuts for a few hours. So it is best to shut your skimmer down at least with Salmon roe.

Anybody ever try Striper roe? Its that time of year here and im always tossing them along with the rest of the guts as seagull bait... Gonna have to give that a shot.

I think you can buy a big container of this roe in the seafood section of asian grocery markets without having to deal with an entire dead carcass.
Also wanted to add that the small size of the roe allows then LPS to swallow it quickly before being stolen by fish, crabs, shrimp etc.
