Anyone else excited for iphone 5 announcement today

The phone looks super sweet. I'm in IT and follow this kinda stuff pretty closely.

Basically they have improved on every single aspect of the phone. Its faster, thinner, lighter, better camera (both front and back), better mic (talk quality), better speakers, better internet connection (4G LTE). Huge upgrade this phone was. Similar to the 3GS to 4 upgrade.

I'm going to be upgrading my wonderful wife's phone from a 3G (that's right, not the 3Gs) to the 5 and man is she going to be very happy! Her phone basically can only take calls, almost nothing else works on it! lol!

I like the new phone.
However, I need to see if you can jailbreak and tether it without going thru AT&T.
I still run an old update on my 4G so I can freely tether my phone.

Theres a new jailbreak for OS 5.01. Teather me app works great.

just read some of the articles. looks very promising. I'll let the wifey play with it and see if she enjoys it before pondering on one. :wink:
