ill be having a bon fire sunday night to kick it off. then a spot on setup out in the fields for me and my son to lay back and watch it. this wont happen again for another 18 years so might as well celebrate it!

so what about yall? anyone going to hang out outside and watch the big moon turn blood red?

were looking at partly cloudy skies but no rain. I like that. if its the right amount of clouds it should be an incredible sight. my son loves looking at the starts so he should go nuts over this

I watched it, it got cloudy but I stayed in the park and the clouds went, a few minutes later it's in the shadow. One of the coolest things I've seen. I'm gonna sneak onto my roof at 11:23 to watch it in it's peak!

Rain all weekend in Charlotte, and tonight's no exception :( my wife is really bummed out, she has been looking forward to it for weeks. I guess we'll try again in 33 years lol

Bummed and cloudy here the family can't see it. Hopefully we get a break for a few moments here n there

We did the same thing here! Bonfire, friends, stars and SUPERMOON!

Awesome picture let's see more from those who are taking them. Our dslr never showed up but it's clear a few moments here so we see it.

My 3 boys went to bed, but at 10 or so 2 of them woke up each other up to use the bathroom, so I woke up the 3rd up and we went outside to have a look, it was about 3/4 of the way covered and it looked awesome here in CT. My 9 year old will be 27 or so the next time it happens, so I am glad we got the chance!

I am also glad it cleared up so we could see it together. Seeing I've been fighting stage 4 kidney cancer 11 years in Dec it's unlikely I'll see the next one with them. Blessed to have tonight and the memories made. It was beautiful.

it cleared up out at my house about 10 minutes before the full eclipse. it was awesome. me and my 3 year old ended up falling asleep watching it and looking at the stars.
