When I first saw it, it looked like it got cut, but when I fed it last night, I saw what the "cut" actually was, and it looks exactly like a second anemone. The LFS that actually raises anemones said they've never seen anything like it! So I'm super nervous and I just hope it can stay healthy! Lol

So this is how it looked today when I got home, you can see the second head or mouth or whatever is starting to stick out more and more.

There's another thread on this in the disease forum. I thought they concluded it was a clone

That's so weird, so what does that mean? I mean it's so weird how it's still pumping I've heard that if anemones are sick they will go down fast! It's been like this for two weeks and is still eating and all.

This is how the anemone looks now! Two heads are sticking out! Pretty cool!

I also know the algae is a little much but I've been trying not to bother the tank too much so everything stays as least stressed as possible. I've Been putting phosphate control in my canister filter to help keep it down.

Old thread, but I have similiar.
A bubble tip which has split normally, but also "budded" a new head. This was a few months ago and the new head didn't separate.
Two anenomies sharing the same foot.

How long do they take to separate?
