Anyone have a Achilles tang?

You need a large tank with a lot of swimming room to make it happy and healthy

I have a 200 gallon but I'm thinking with this fish it may not be big enough.

According to what I have read and where they are from you also need a lot of flow! My favorite fish but I have only kept for a month max. :(

That should be enough. they like alot of flow, feed it seaweed and you should be good to go.

I have two WP40's so I don't think flow will be a issue but length of tank might be. The tank is 64" long.

There is plenty of swimming room. I have two structures. One is a traditional mound with a few holes for fish to hide and the other is half arch but the rock work is considered minimal.

Just as long as you have enough swimming space and your tank isn't jammed full of rock you should be ok

I think that is enought swimming space and flow to keep it as long as he s the only agressive tang. I was able to keep one for 3 months in 120g 4footer tank until added a yellow tang.... they fight for a cave to sleep at night and the Achilles lost the fight....

I think ur tank is good size to keep one if he ll be the only tang.... I was able to kept one for 3 months in 120g 4footer tank for more than 3 months until I added a yeloow tang. They fight for a cave to sleep at night, unfortunately, the yellow is more aggressive and he won.
I learned it a hard way...lol
