Yes! My pygmy wrasse is 1 of 3 fish in my nuvo 16. He was VERY shy first 10-14 days, now he cruises the tank. Easy to feed, not showing signs of a jumper either.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm a little worried about how shy they are, some people say they barely see them. They're a gorgeous fish, and I love how they can be in such a small tank.
I have had a Yellow Banded for about 2 years now. Awesome nano fish :) I first had it in my JBJ 28, and now in my 50 cube. Spends all day in and out of the rockwork hunting for pods. Mine only ate Mysis for the first year I had it; otherwise it lived off of pods. Now it eats everything. Although mine is "outgoing" others see theirs as cryptic, barely seeing them. Likely the case of an individual fish and/or other established (possibly aggressive) fish. All in all, I highly recommend one (or even a Pseudocheilinops ataenia) for a nano :)
I have one in my 120g. At first, it would hide for maybe about a month. Now he cruises around like my Mandarin. He's tiny compared to my other wrasses (Xmas, Naoko, Flasher, Pink Margin), but no one bothers him, even my Starry Blenny.
They look weak cause of their size, but I guess they are quite hardy!
