So...this was a long time in the coming...but earlier this spring I had one of my larger anchor corals attempt to reproduce sexually. At first when I saw the tiny yellow eggs flying through my tank I assumed that one of my female peppermints had just blown her eggs out near one of my powerheads...upon closer inspection they were being squirted out of the "mouth" of the anchor coral. Upon even CLOSER inspection, you could see that there were still some other "heads" that had eggs still visible within the polyps. Sorry I couldnt get pictures during the actual act, but these are pretty cool none the less. Anyone else ever have this happen? Im assuming its not that hard if it just randomly happened in my tank.
