My Duncan coral has been doing fine it was open very large then last couple of weeks it’s been staying semi shut or not opening much I did notice it has another small Duncan coming from the back but as you can see the other Duncan is open just wondering why the main Duncan is not opening much I tested water all if fine

Sorry just added image

Tank age and water parameters?
What happened recently in your tank that was different?
2/3 heads open I don’t usually worry honestly

That ricordea mushroom is most likely the culprit. I always gave my ricordea mushrooms their own rock. Corals will fight for space and softies can use a defense known as allepothey. They also have nematocysts that potentially sting as well.

What does your light and flow look like?

I've kept Duncans ... they can be difficult coral to keep.
My tank is pushing 6yrs old, i have a frag added 8 months ago and its still the same - stubborn little coral.
