Anyone know what these filaments are ?

My soft coral has been producing these brown filaments for a while . Any one know what they are? Ps blow up the pic to see the filament on the right (;

While it might just be pooping, sometimes when the lighting is too intense the coral will expel zooxanthellae too. This is not necessarily a good thing. How often are you seeing this?
 
Just last couple of days . The lighting has been the same for months . T5 twin blue and full spectrum. The coral looks quite healthy and happy generally
