Found this website searching for a product. They have great prices 50% off many products. With free shipping on only $40.00 I'm a little suspicious when I put items into the shopping cart. They want to give me a discount for my first order which amounts to what one of the items in the cart cost $97.98. So basically, giving one of my items for free.

These same (similar) threads pop up on the daily. New user, first post, is this site legit? But then they never post again….

I don’t know the logic/reasoning behind it. Obviously people click the links to see what’s up, but I don’t think anyone is falling for it. I don’t know the purpose of just directing a few peeps to some random site.

Anyway, add I’ve said in several other threads that are suspiciously similar, no offense to the op if i I t is in fact a genuine question, but totally sus as you said.

But when you accuse people of being bots no wonder they don't ever reply back lol I assure you I am legit been in the fish hobby for over 60+ years. mostly freshwater, but kept fish only salt. I am just getting into reef keeping

I just checked that as well. Google always shows a ground view of the address. It's a field in a nature reserve LOL

No problem I'm not new to online forums I can handle it lol Like I had mentioned I been in the hobby many years. But lost my last running 300 gallon tank in a house fire 2 years ago. I am about to move into my newly rebuilt house and planning to setup a new tank.

It's all cool. There are some very knowledgeable people here willing to share. Not everyone posts a lot. Some people still show as new members and they joined 10 years ago lol They just don't post a lot and mostly read and gather info. This is my only form of social media that I use so I tend to talk a lot at times

Bummerino about the fire! I can only imagine. Luckily, I moved out of an area before it was ravaged by fire. I know people that lost everything back in Jan 25, and have made zero progress on rebuilding. Insurance and permitting has been a disaster.

Either way, please be careful. Sometimes you can find good deals, but most of the time if it’s too good to be true, it is.

If in doubt search for reviews of the site that are not on the site.
