Looking good Lee. Mines not completely a rat rod by definition but kinda fits this thread I guess. This is my project pre kids so it kinda got put on the back burner for a while, excuse the mess in my garage.

Thanks Chase.

Cool pics Lee, mine used to sit that low when it was bagged.

Well, it's no ratrod but I've had it since I was 15 (17 years now!) and it's getting an upgrade from the straight 6 to a 5.0 302.

nice...I'm a Chevy guy but I still love the old 'stangs too,my dad had 3 '64s and he bought a '65 289 4 speed fastback brand new in 65,2 years before I came along :D...IMO that little pony is what started the muscle car era...glad to see you're keeping it all Ford

I wouldn't consider anything but ford for this! I've been lusting after the early fastbacks for the last couple months, it's probably good this is getting some work to distract me. I'd love to see some pics of what he has if you've got any. I would also love an old early '30s hot rod. Maybe one day

I'll try and get some tomorrow... If not I will have plenty this weekend.. We will be parked side by side thurs thru Sunday for a huge show here in Vegas..

they're all gone now,all the photos he had were destroyed in a flood years ago,the last 64 he had,he was out drinking in it and running from the law,he jumped it off a ramp in Cincinnati Ohio and destroyed it,that was near the Ohio river and really close to home,he managed to get out of the car and got away from the cops without them seeing him,he made it home in time to see it on the news that they were dragging the river hunting for a body.....he reported it stolen  all the 'stangs he had were before I was born,so all I ever seen was the photos but the 65 fastback was awesome, black and mean looking

the 1 car he had that I remember like it was yesterday, and I was just a pup then but I always wanted it,it was a '65 Galaxy 500 convertible,390,4 barrel carb and 4 in the floor, wicked car,I remember ever time he bust it the shackles would hit the blacktop...it was cobalt blue with some really funky looking rally stripes but was my first car love LOL
