Anyone see a Torch do this before?

Has been in tank well over a year, and growing well...... bad picture but if you look closely, the string that looks like algae coming from it, is actually part of the torch..... it’s going all the way into the overflow.

I reached in to free it, to see if it got stuck, and it just slowly retracted back to normal.

Looks like a feeder tentacle.
