I have a new 3 mth old tank with the brown cyanobacteria all overy rocks, having to clean sludge off the glass every 2nd day.
Is there anything that eats it or anything to treat it?
Any knowledge much appreciated.

Trochus snails will eat it. They move slow (yep, snails) so you might need quite a few snails depending on the size of your tank.

If it's a recurring problem you should do some water testing and ask for a routine in the chemistry forum.

It's something in your water chemistry, you won't ever get rid of it with a cleanup crew or even physically siphoning it out yourself (which takes way more out of the tank than any fish or invert ever would)

Running a phosban reactor for awhile helped me knock it out, in addition to just lowering nutrient level in the tank over time.
