Anyway to lower calcium levels?

So I just got a hannah calcium checker in the mail today. ran three tests on my water and my calcium was WAY higher than the sailfert test were showing. it’s 530 :( should I be worried ?

Youlll be fine. Just stop dosing it for a while and it will slowly come down. I usually run around 480 Ca and it's drifted up over 500 without any noticeable issues.

I’ve ran 550-600 for almost 2 years. Never saw any side effects. I would be comfortable with your level

530 is nothing to worry about.

550-600 may cause calcification inside PHs causing a propeller to not turn back on if the PH is stopped. but a PH soak in vinegar solves it.

but like others above I always prefer of 480-500. I think any reading below 440 is really low. Below 400 is murderous husbandry
