Apex 24V Ports Not Working

I just moved my system to new house and set up my Apex today. At my old house, I was using one 24v port for a PMUP pump for my ATO and the other one to power some cheap strip light bars to light the inside of my cabinet.

I’ve plugged the PMuP and the strip lights in and turned both on in fusion….nothing. I cannot imagine both 24V port failed at the same time or the pump and the lights failed at the same time? It has to be user error, no? Any ideas?

Your best bet is to contact Neptune - they should be able to troubleshoot this with you.

Got a Multimeter? If so, being careful not to create a short, turn both 24V ports on in fusion and put the Multimeter across the 24V pins. You should get near 24V DC if the EB832 is working correctly. If you don't, contact support.

No, but I have anon contact voltage tester. Both the pump and the light wire are showing power going through them. Maybe both my lights and pump are bad?

Spoke too soon. Even when I turn both off through fusion, the non contact shows both wire to have power. Must be a low amount of power going through even when off?

How long was the pump dry? Maybe take it apart and clean it. Dumb question time does the light strip have a switch? Or plugged in all the way?

Non contact tester is giving a false positive from AC. Those don't work for DC at all.

Do you still have the power supply for the PMUP handy? You could use that to verify your light and PMUP are still functional.

He would still need a module either fmm or onelink that has a 24v port to plug the pump into.

To op do you have a 24v port available that's not on the eb832.

I would also get a cheep multimeter you can get a cheep one an almost any auto parts store.

I was referring to the power supply they ship with the PMUP as an option. It's 2 pin molex female connector for using the PMUP on an AC outlet.

No, I bought the pmup with the 24V accessory port connector. Is seems that my 1Link ports aren’t working either because both of my WAV power heads are showing as “Missing.”

Are the 120V outlets working?

If no, check the 15A breaker switch on the back side.

If yes, you probably have a damaged 24V internal supply. You would need to send that in for repair.

Yes, the 120s are working fine. I think you might be right. Sending it in sounds like a real hassle. I have a support request in to Neptune.

Did a support consultation with Neptune and they confirmed the 24V power supply is shot. They offers for have me send it in to be fixed at something like $150 or they would give me a discount on a new one to make it $150. Not a bad outcome for a five year old piece of equipment.
