Apex and MP40

I have a 90 g with two mp40s on opposite sides being controlled by an apex. I am having a hard time generating random water movement. I get great gyre actions but my euphoria are always flowing in the same direction. Anyone have any suggestions about how Incan configure this set up to generate a more random water movement pattern?

Are you syncing your pumps? I have my pumps alternating between "Nutrients and Reef Crest" and I get good random flow.

What % do you run the slave?

They're not sync'd right now but I run each one at the same power settings.

Syncing them makes a huge difference! I wasn't happy with my flow at all until I did.

Mine I sync together but they are in anti sync mode. That is how you get the back and forth wave motion. In anti sync each pump will do the apposite of the master. I run mine in nutrient export mode.

Ok, so has anyone noticed that not all of the MP40 flow settings are not all represented in the Apex Fusion MP40 settings page. Has anyone else noticed and asked about it?
