I am very confused as to which camera to add to the apex. I have read many wonderful posts saying dlink is best bang for the buck.

Bottom line my camera will be 10 feet from my tank. Not necessary to do PTz if it has a good zoom I guess.

Neptune refuses to say one camera or another.

Any one had recent success?

Honestly I have a camera on my tank but I prefer to use the app for the camera and not the apex fusion or native dashboard on my phone. However I use the dashboard camera when on my laptop. It gets tricky with different cameras because some can be a pain to set up. I have a foscam 8910 and works just fine but doesn't have zoom.

I have a dLink 5020L. It worked well for a quick look into my tank while I was deployed to Africa, but for anal retentive/OCD people like myself.... The Axis 214 PTZ Network Camera is on my DREAM list!!! I've seen it on another forum through a user's Apex link and OMG! You can preset several focal points and the clarity is phenomenal. (I guess that's why it comes with a $1,200+ price tag).

Great. Thanks all. That axis is rediculous! I'll look into the foscam I believe.
