Apex classic question:

I want BRS doser to work 3 minutes every 3 hours, is this the right code?
Fallback OFF
OSC 180:00/003:00/0:00
Then ON

Wait 3 hours, ON 3min, OFF ?

My guess is, this code of mine will work but offset the dosing every 3 hours by a delay of 3 minutes but it will reset in midnight every night am I right?
Thx

This is what you would want for the above.

Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/003:00/177:00 Then ON

Starts at 000:00(midnight) / runs 3 minutes / stays off 177 minutes

If you want to do some other things, like if you are dosing Alk and Calcium separately and need one to start a half hour later than the other, or you want to stop alkalinity dosing if your pH goes too high, This is a great calculator that will give you more options than just using the code above.

It worked well... Currently it's code is
changing from
000:00/003:00/177:00
To
000:00/001:00/179:00

If needed in future I can even make it work for seconds? Like

000:00/000:30/179:30

..... Right? What's the minimum duration allowed?
😊 Thx

Glad it’s working for you.

Yes, you can go down to seconds. For instance my plank feeder is only on for 15 seconds twice a day.

Fallback OFF
OSC 000:00/000:15/359:45 Then OFF
If Time 19:00 to 09:00 Then OFF
