So it's getting to be cold dry winter where I am from and boy is my ato going crazy trying to keep up. I have about 220 gallon system that's from my math is going through between a gallon to 2 a day of evap water. I am using a 5017 osmolator. My return chamber of my sump isn't very large and this much evap causes my ato to cycle on for a handful of seconds every few minutes or so. Note my top off water is coming from my basement mixing station so it takes a few seconds for it to make its way up, the end of the tube is out of the water, and my water is super calm in my return chamber.

This cycle time seems pretty intense, so I was wondering if there is a way to program my apex to have the unit turn on for 15 minutes every hour or so to prevent short cycling the pump? Also, I have dogs and the power on alarm on the 5017 freaks them out so that is another issue, is there a way to turn off the power on alarm?

The only thing I have my Apex doing to my 5017 is to turn off when return pump is off and to have a 10 minute delay after the return pump comes back on.

Any ideas or info on what you think about these evap rates would be appreciated
